Working Principle for rotary dryer:
When the bottom of the dryer equipment reaches 400°C-800°C, the material is fed from the feed port by the elevator. It is dispersed and broken under gravity, and the dispersion device is evenly distributed inside the dryer to flow. The hot gas is generated by the lower hot blast stove, moves from bottom to top, contacts with the material, and transfers heat to the material through heat conduction, convection, radiation, and other ways, so that the temperature of the material continues to rise, the water is continuously evaporated, and finally meets the moisture content. The required materials are discharged from the lower outlet, and the fan draws out the gas with water vapor through the chimney.
How to choose suitable rotary dryer?
1. Material handling capacity: According to the production scale, determine the amount of material that needs to be dried per hour or per day, so as to select a dryer with a suitable cylinder diameter and length to ensure that its handling capacity can meet production needs.
2. Material characteristics: including the initial humidity of the material, the final required humidity, the shape of the material, etc. If the initial humidity of the material is high, it is necessary to select a dryer with a large heat exchange area and a high hot air flow temperature; if it is a powdery material, it is also necessary to consider preventing the material from flying.
3. Site conditions: According to the size of the installation site, the height of the space, etc., select a dryer of the appropriate size to ensure that the equipment can be installed and operated smoothly, and at the same time, reserve sufficient space for operation and maintenance.
